TRAIN. PERFORM. RESTORE
Curtis began his career as a therapist within the juvenile justice system before moving into the health education field. His passion for fitness began early on through organized sports and continued into college as he was a part of the Alabama A&M Track and Field Team. Through experience competing on the collegiate level as well as coaching multiple high school sports, Curtis felt there was a missing link as athletes strived to be at their best for competition. That's when1 Motion Sports and Rehabilitation was born.
Curtis currently holds certifications through The National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Personal Trainer; Stretch to Win Institute as a Fascial Stretch Therapist Level II; USA Weightlifting Level I, and Compound Performance and Rehab Body Tempering.
Curtis Mattair is a native of Madison Florida and has resided in Atlanta, Georgia since 2008. Curtis earned both his Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from Alabama A&M University and his Professional Education Certifications in Special Education and Health and Physical Education from Georgia State University.
At 1 Motion Sports and Rehabilitation we believe for athletes to be at their best they must Train, Perform, and Restore. They must TRAIN both mentally and physically so they are prepared for the unexpected that often occurs during competition. They then must PERFORM at their best when called upon. And to complete the cycle an athlete must RESTORE so that he or she may turn around and do it all over again.
Allow 1 Motion Sports and Rehabilitation to help you STAY IN THE GAME!
